We Have A LOT For Kids at Canton Texas FUMC!

We hope that you will find a blessing for you and your children at the First United Methodist Church of Canton. We welcome all children and seek to help them grow in their love of God, understanding of God's word and build and strengthen a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Let us know how we can assist your family and your ministry! 

CROSSROADS

From age three and up - we offer Sunday School for children. Your child will learn the stories of our faith through reading the Bible, creative projects and friendly interaction. Join us each Sunday morning at 10 a.m.!

PRAISE ON WEDNESDAYS

POW! The church van picks up children at the elementary and intermediate schools to bring them to church for Jam Sessions! We offer the kids a great snack prepared by loving hands and then they practice songs that they will sing in Sunday morning worship - FUN! This program is for children who are kindergarten through those who are in the 5th grade!  This ministry runs on the same calendar as the Canton ISD Calendar.

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation is a year long program that starts in September for all 6th graders (or those who are older and have missed the class previously). Participants will learn about the Christian faith, United Methodism, our holy days and much more! With the conclusion of the class, participants will be given the opportunity to become full members of the United Methodist Church

SAFE SANCTUARY
